Paper usage in the United States is at an all time high. The U.S. pulp industry is the 3rd largest consumer of chlorine, 2nd largest consumer of energy, and the largest consumer of water per ton of product. Why do we care? Well, half the trees cut down in the U.S. are used for paper. This increases the prices on other products that use trees, as well as the numerous environmental benefits that are lost due to forest destruction.
