This is simply a system to scan your webservers harddrive and compress all images to the lowest possible filesize without losing all quality. It works in conjunction with ImageMagick and requires it to be installed on your server also. This script can easily be crontabbed to run at specific times of day or week or month, usefull for freehosts. It is one single script and runs fairly quickly on larger servers by our tests to date.

update image script - mysql is a multi-platform compatible Perl CGI script generated by CGIScripter displays one entire database record in an HTML table. All JPEG/GIF images stored within the record are displayed in-line with the rest of the data from the record. Input parameters passed by HTTP POST. For security, these parameters are hard-coded within the script to prevent web form hijacking. This Perl program accepts the primary key value passed in the URL then retrieves and displays this one record from the database with updatable fields.If the cnum parameter is passed to this script in the URL, then this script simply passes the GIF or JPEG image data to the browser.

This AlbumAdvanced Photo Album looks through your web server in the directories in which you specify for both gif and jpeg images. It displays them as thumbs, as well as showing all child directories. As the user browses these directories, they can view the photos and images in them as thumbnails as well. If an image is clicked, then you can view it full size, or specify the size to shrink it or enlarge it however you want, all from a browser. Each directory can have it's own password, it's own body information (background colours and link colours etc.) so that it's a breeze setting up albums for all your friends.
